Maasai Mara

Kenya's most celebrated reserve — rolling golden plains, dense predator populations, and the legendary wildebeest migration.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is an extension of Tanzania's Serengeti ecosystem and widely regarded as one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations. Its open grasslands support extraordinary concentrations of lion, elephant, and cheetah year-round.

Between roughly July and October, millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River as part of the Great Migration, drawing travelers from across the world to witness the spectacle.
